Accommodation solutions for migrant workers

In the 2012 national declaration, local and national government, advocacy organisations and employee organisations agreed that the shortfall of 100,000 good and affordable accommodation places would be resolved within a reasonable period of time. At present, only part of this number has been realised. In the current market in particular, this increases the urgency of providing sufficient accommodation.

HomeFlex would be happy to discuss tackling this problem with you. We already take part in discussions with various municipalities about the development of policy related to accommodation for migrant workers and others. We would be happy to share our expertise and experience with you. HomeFlex is an active member of the Migrant Worker Accommodation Providers` Association (Vereniging Huisvesters Arbeidsmigranten, VHA). Our most important activity is providing SNF-certified accommodation for migrant workers. This consists of fully-equipped temporary accommodation, which we fully manage ourselves. Because we let out managed accommodation, and because we are responsible for this management, our staff have access to the property at all times for inspection.

Property management

HomeFlex operates independently, and maintains all property management functions in-house. This allows us to effectively monitor the property we are responsible for. Property management includes the following:

• Multilingual house rules in every home
• Weekly or fortnightly house inspections
• Own cleaning service
• Night registration
• Complaint registration
• 24/7 availability in emergencies

Flexible living projects

HomeFlex wishes to offer good, managed accommodation, in such a way as you yourself would wish to live. To be able to realise this, we develop our own accommodation projects. One example is in the municipality of Katwijk. Here we have realised 16 living units, each with 4 bedrooms and a total of 64 beds, on an industrial estate. The complex also includes fencing, private parking, a bicycle storage area and green space. You can view more projects here.
