After the first pile was driven in November 2020, the construction and realization of the complex got off to a vigorous start. By now, all units are in place, and a full-fledged apartment complex stands on the south side of Sluiskil.
As the units were manufactured in the factory, a complete apartment complex with 32 apartments was erected in just one week. Construction was halted for two weeks while the Netherlands enjoyed snow and ice fun, but the complex has now taken shape. The finishing with stone strips ensures that the complex fits into the residential environment, and despite being flexible construction, this complex has the appearance of permanent construction.
Work has also begun on setting up the rest of the site, such as the paving and parking spaces. Inside the apartments, work is progressing on the finishing touches and installations, so that the first guests can be welcomed this spring.
The apartments will be rented out fully furnished. The modern urban design on the outside is translated to the inside with an industrial and contemporary look. The combination of wood and black steel, along with the use of warm fabrics and rugged leather elements, gives a homely atmosphere to the interior. This creates a pleasant home base for the guests.
If all goes well, the first residents will arrive in the homes in April.
