At the end of April 2020, the municipality of Terneuzen granted a permit for the construction of a temporary complex for labor migrants on Leidinglaan in Sluiskil. The objection period has now also expired. With this, we are one step closer to realizing this project. The shortage of suitable housing for workers in the area calls for a solution. This project will create a total of 32 apartments for 2 or 3 people, providing accommodation for approximately 80 individuals.
The apartments are equipped with single-person bedrooms and fully furnished with a kitchen and sanitary facilities. A manager will also be appointed for the complex.
HomeFlex wishes to stay in contact with those involved and local residents, and for this purpose, a sounding board group will be formed.
