On Thursday, October 8, a new apartment complex was officially opened in the municipality of Westland by Alderman Abee (municipality of Westland) and owner Bert Verheij (HomeFlex). In their speeches, both mentioned the process leading to the realization of this project and expressed gratitude to the involved parties. ‘With this, Westland has gained a beautiful residential location for migrant workers.’
The complex has been specifically developed for migrant workers employed in the Westland area. It is the second complex that HomeFlex has realized under its own management and one of the most modern residential locations for migrant workers.
The complex comprises 120 apartments for 2 or 3 persons. Each apartment has its own kitchen and bathroom, with every resident having their own bedroom. This is important for livability, but also for privacy and certainly now for safety in relation to the Covid-19 virus. All accommodations are fully furnished and equipped for a pleasant stay. In total, approximately 300 flex workers can reside here, supported by permanent management.
